The Ethical and Emancipatory Facets of the Parasite, Symposium, Day 2

On the final day, the lectures and panel discussions will focus in particular on the ethical- emancipatory dimensions of parasitic tactics and their consequences, with a specific emphasis on contributions informed by non-binary theoretical approaches. Four additional presentations on upcoming interventions within the long-term project On Parasiting will establish a shared ground for discussion. The day will conclude with an additional artistic case by Pilvi Takala.

Contributions by artists Vincent Rumahloine, Pilvi Takala, and Suelen Calonga, art historian Tonia Andresen, as well as ethnographers Jen Clarke, Michael Degani, and Grace Zhou will form the closing of the Parasite School.
