How can art remain resistant when critique is easily absorbed, neutralized, or censored? How does aesthetic or poetic form operate politically? Talking Poetics of Resistance is a monthly reading and discussion group exploring artistic and theoretical positions situated between aesthetics and life.

The symposium opens a space for reflection on the complex dimensions of public space and the potential of art as a medium for collaborative production, critical inquiry and societal transformation.

This year we are celebrating the fifth anniversary of MakeUp, an open space for creative encounters, art, and neighborhood.

On Parasiting (2026–27) is an international artistic research project by Matilde Outeiro and Jakob Margit Wirth, exploring parasitic tactics as forms of embedded resistance. The project launches with a public symposium in form 14th - 21st of June.
