With support of the Bauhaus Fellowship, which is funded by the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, the development of a performance is planned as part of a two-month residency, which follows on from the performances ‘My Gender Stretch’ and ‘Cutout. 1 km of Patriarchy’, as well as ‘EINTRAG: Margit’, and to develop these further. As part of the fellowship, the examination of gender identity and related patriarchal structures and narratives will be continued and deepened, with a particular focus on reflecting on the privileges of being a diverse, but cis-male socialized person. This serves not only to question my personal position, but also to reflect a broader social discussion. As a contribution to such a discussion in the artistic and cultural landscape of Weimar, a performance in and through Weimar will take place on April 26.
