Commoning Spaces – Hans Sauer Stiftung München

On 19 October, I will contribute to Commoning Spaces, a conference by the Hans Sauer Foundation in Munich. My contribution looks at artistic strategies of appropriating housing and urban spaces in the tension between vacancy, privilege and ownership. Through examples from Parasite Art, I will discuss how performative interventions can disturb existing power relations and open up alternative models of use, access and commoning.
